Sullane Players

In 2008 we followed up with a play by the infamous John B. Keane entitled "Moll". As with all John B's works this was also a great success and was received by full houses each of the five nights. 

In 2009 we stayed with John B Keane and his first ever play entitled "Sive". Yet again we played to packed houses and look forward to next years production in early 2010.

This group owes much of its success to the numerous traders in town who have supported us with sponsorship over the years and would like to thank them sincerely for their help. Macroom has a fantastic facility in the Briery Gap Theatre and the help we get from all involved is immeasurable. We look forward to the enormous support we get from Anne Dunne the manager, Paul Collins and Deirdre Young on sound and lighting, Liz, Elanor and Sheila at the box office and who could forget Denis and the job he does to keep the theatre presentable and comfortable for the public to enjoy. I would like to say a special thank you to John Vaughan for all the help and support he gave me in the run up to our first production. Words cannot express how helpful John was to the group. 

The Sullane Players would not be the success story it is without the help and support from everyone involved. A few people I feel I must mention for their time and dedication and they are Robert ORiordan, Jason Shannon, Stephen Collins and Emer ONeill. They have been there since day one and are the cornerstone of the group.
